Stephenson Consulting Ltd is a company set up by Kim Stephenson.

Kim is a regular contributor to BBC radio programmes and various popular magazines such as Top Sante, Eve, Red and Psychologies and newspaper such as the Sunday Times, The Guardian, Scotland on Sunday and the Mail on Sunday. He has also written and been interviewed for various specialist magazines such as Therapy Today (the Journal of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), Financial Solutions (the magazine of the Personal Finance Society), as well as writing for psychology journals and speaking at conferences on psychology and coaching.

Kim spent the first 14 years of his career as an Independent Financial Advisor, consulting in the corporate and High Net Worth markets. As a consequence, he understood that there is a need for advice that is financially sound and takes into account the financial constraints that affect businesses and individuals. People and businesses can use money, or let money use them.

At the same time, being a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, he understood that people are the core of a business – without the people, the business doesn’t run and without people, there is no market for the products. People are business - our business is people.

As a consultant with a quarter of a century of experience he knew that most organisations and individuals want high quality, tailored solutions to unique issues rather than bog-standard, “fits where it touches” ready answers. There are no standard companies or ordinary people

So Stephenson Consulting was born to provide tailored solutions to unique “people problems” that were financially sound. We produce business solutions that are designed specifically for your needs.

To provide those solutions, there are three things we do;

• Research so you don’t have to, and you can get the benefits of the latest thinking about people
• Transfer knowledge – help you to develop your personal and corporate capacity
• Produce quality solutions that address your real needs.

We have contact with many leading research and commercial organisations in the psychological, HR and financial worlds but are independent of any other organisation. We therefore offer professional, independent and unbiased advice, we can provide recommendations or bring in specialist assistance from academic or commercial concerns if this is in your best interests.
